Here is just a glimpse of my favorite CA places according to my cellphone:
1st stop in Ojai, CA
I truly feel that our vacation spending quality time together, just focusing on each other, and also getting to see my best friend is so life affirming. I'm so happy my husband and I took time out of our busy schedule and made such special memories. It was a magical and relaxing time!
Now that we are back, it seems like work is calling and I will be busy for awhile to complete a few projects (from a waiting list) and also I will add more pictures from my CA trip ....................
so stay tuned for new pictures, art, news, and wonderful exploration!
Cheers, Lana
Looks like you choose the perfect place for a vacation. Those blue skies look stunning, and I'd love to see more of your adventures!
ReplyDeletePictures actually not even give a justice to that place.... it is a relaxing, very secluded and people are so friendly!
DeleteCalifornia really is a cool place, thou I've not visited the southern part. My trips out west have taken me to San Jose and north. I love the Redwoods and the city of San Rafael, its laid back like a Sunday morning :-)
DeleteGreat Pictures and I'm glad you enjoyed your trip
Thank you Bruce!
DeleteI visited San Francisco two years ago and it is very different experience, I must admit :) Thank you for sharing yours!
Your photos bring back memories. My husband and I lived in southern California for 12-1/2 years, with the last half dozen or so in Oxnard. Ojai is located very near. I'm so glad you got to take this time for yourself and your husband. By the way, I share your fear of heights.
ReplyDeleteWow, I think I'm never get used to it:) I hope you did't have driving on those road day to day basics!

DeleteWelcome back Lana!!
ReplyDeleteSouthern California looks like a heavenly place :) Currently I also live on the flat land, but I actually prefer hilly places. Hopefully I can one day visit CA! Love the photo of you, so carefree and lovely :)
Looking forward to more photos!
Always looking forward to see you Duni! Thank you for your lovely comments and I will be adding more pictures from my trip soon:).... pinky promise:)
DeleteIt looks like such a great trip! I have never been to California (unless you count a few airport layovers!). It's possible we could move there in a year or so, which would be an interesting experience. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and I hope getting back to work isn't too difficult!
ReplyDeleteOh.... the airport is totally not cool.... busy and always in delays:) Not the big fan:) But if you get chance to relocate to CA.... you will be ready to delays .... traffic/pollution there horrific and it will be so much more different from your Hawaiian life:)... well as for me - still love CA weather!
DeleteLooks like a wonderful vacation! So glad you got some time away :)
ReplyDeleteThank you my friend!
Deletelove those horses
ReplyDeletethank you Hena!
DeleteThe horses! I love that photo.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had an awesome time, and I'm so glad. =0)
Those horses are from local artist(unfortunately forgot her name). What is so neat about Ojai - they really keep the artistic spirit and encourage small business to grow. No major retailers store there at all..... all in the hands of locals! ( it was told me by the local artist... so not sure if this is true) Interesting and lovely place!
DeleteVery pretty. Looks like a stunning place to tour.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lady Lilith!
DeleteSounds like a great time! You sure did get some great pictures. I've been only to Northern California, never southern. Hopefully someday.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
Southern California has totally different vibes in my observation so as weather :)
DeleteThank you for visiting me here and your lovely comment!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! I would love to travel around California myself.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me here! CA has so many unique places... and it is a place to visit!
