I hope you had a blessed week and nice family celebration during this Thanksgiving week (at least for those of you in the US). Now it's time to start preparing for a lovely holiday season and getting ready for more joyful times with family and friends!
As for me I'm going to be short and sweet this week, because I'm swamped with custom orders, sales, packing and last minute freelance work. Also, I'm really excited about my recent collaboration with large retailer .... I cannot wait to reveal! This is will be a lovely surprise just before the New Year!
my commission for a lovely client packed and ready to be shipped |
Getting away this holiday season? Next year I would like to return to Paris and spend a week in Provence ( but I will have to wait till June so see the beautiful lavender season :) so in the mean time...
Paris in bloom from my trip this year |
- little sparkles from Tiffany's for Christmas ... in my "Santa's list".... a girl can dream - N'est-ce pas?
New Tiffany's store in Manhattan |
- it never hurts to dream about a far away destination or shopping on 5th Avenue in NYC
New Custom Illustration for client I completed last week |
.... What is your dream destination? Share with me.... and for now my favorite quote:
" Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks" - Plutarch.
I hope you can see my story from my paintings... my dreams, and my inspiration... so go ahead dream up your next vacation, and make it happen! - xx, Lana
Oh I love that Paris & Lavender image up there! So glad to hear that you're swamped with custom work. That's great news. I like your Tiffany's illustration! =0) Yes, a girl can definitely dream!

ReplyDeleteMy dream destination would be to go back to Paris, but I'd settle for anywhere in Europe. We might be going to Iceland with my sister next year!
Paige, this is exiting plan - Iceland! I hope your dream will come true and I'm looking forward to see it in your blog!
DeleteYour packaging is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to spend 5 weeks in Province several years ago. Part of my extended family used to live in Aix-en-Province and I stayed with them. I'm kind of jealous of Paige - we definitely want to visit Iceland, too! Also, my husband is also currently on some kick where he wants to move to Australia. As for actual travel plans - we're heading to Florida at the end of the month!
Oh, how lovely! I bet you husband missed Miami :) - so, welcome to Florida! Thank you for sharing your plans with me!... sometimes I think about Australia as well....
DeleteLovely post, and lovely pictures, thanks for sharing! <3
ReplyDeleteI have a new outfit post over on my blog, I would love to know your thoughts:

Dream destination - so many. I told my husband that we each get to pick 5 places because we know at our age that we won't get to see the entire world. So far I have Spain, Italy and Portugal. I am holding out for my other 2. I would like to see Paris with my husband, but that has to be on his list because I have been there and want my 5 to be new spots.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea !... and I wish you so much fun with all your wanderlust destinations!!!!
DeleteYour artwork is so fabulous!! I just love it!
ReplyDeleteMary Alice

DeleteIt is wonderful that you have so many orders to fill! You have great things to look forward to in 2015.
ReplyDeleteThe Provence is beautiful! Don't forget to visit Marseille if you happen to have a day extra. It is not like Paris at all, but maybe even more interesting ;)
(I don't know what happened, I think I accidentally responded to a different blog entry, even though I meant to respond to this one all along. I am not sure why it changed, sorry for the double post.)
I see only one post here, so must be some sort of bloggers mistake ..... but I'm in the process to redesign my blog, so maybe it was a problem:(
DeleteThank you for your Marseille suggestion, it is in my list of things to visit next year! I'm exited to see what 2015 will be bring to me and everyone from our blog's circle of friends!!!!!
